[From the clank of the recording video, it's obvious the communicator was dropped, or knocked over. The view is from a dresser top, looking back into a bedroom, where Anemone is standing at a mirror, her back turned to the camera while the room around her looks as though a tornado hit. Furniture on the bed, clothes every which way, a sheet is pulled half off the bed, etc. Soon a rolled up white and black sleeve followed by a bandaged wrapped arm darts across the screen as Cube's hand can be seen fumbling with some crayons that have decided to roll across the dresser top and onto the floor]

CH! CH! CH!! Where are they?! I knew you had a pair here somewhere, Anemone-chan...

MY HAIR!

[Turning around, one can see a chunk of Anemone's pink hair is missing. Completely gone on one side of her head from the cheek downwards. Upon her cheek is a bandage, accented by Anemone's pouting face. It's then that a very agitated sigh comes from the demon butler before turning around, speaking through gritted teeth.]

And thus is why we're having NO VISITORS! NONE! I don't care WHO IT IS! No one will be entering or leaving this apartment until whatever is happening stops!

[He then drags a chair over for Anemone to cut her hair. After she sits, Cube starts to work on shortening the rest of her hair, large pieces floating to the floor as he works. The video eventually times out]

[She's still stuck on this, staring in horror at the portion of her hair missing on the side. It feels like no matter what she does, trouble just pops in her way. Maybe Shinji was right--maybe her apartment really wasn't as safe as she thought. She still didn't want to move...

But she didn't want her hair to be a punishment for her stubbornness! Alpha, Sorata, Ace... Sanji... Shinji was coming back. She's kind of worried to see the chaos on the network, especially now, with this new crisis: her hair was gone!]

[Cube was far too agitated to respond properly, he focused all his anger, distraught, and loathing energy into cutting Anemone's sad hair]

I hate today too. If it's not people being bored, it's monsters, or sickness, or random attacks by our friends! It's how this world is. It never seems to change for the better.

[He pauses, twirling the scissors with his fingers. He wasn't one to make decisions for anyone, so he turns to Anemone and shoots the question to her, quickly]

[Anemone is on the verge of crying, but is trying to suck it up. Only hair? She could never remember having hair short at all... it was always as close to her waist as possible for the longest time.

And Cube's pessimism doesn't help. She ends up just sitting down, holding onto Gulliver the moment he hops into her lap. Gulliver knows he's needed, and nuzzles her cheek to keep her from freaking out.]

J-just... just even it out... from this part... and make it look pretty, okay?

[Tears come to her eyes anyway, and she shuts them tightly.] I can't watch, I can't watch...

[Either way, when this was over... Ace was so dead.]
