✪ Lost Puppy! What is this? ✪ [Accidental Video]
[The video feed starts off dark with some growling noises followed by some sniffing. The screen clears up and shows a purple canine as Cube pulls his snout away from the screen. He cocks his head, looking curiously at the communicator. One of his ears flops to the side for a moment as he stares.
Suddenly, his eyes light up as his ears spring at a thought in his mind. The screen goes dark again as Cube picks up the communicator in his mouth. The sound of panting and quick paw steps can be heard for a few moments before he pulls away. Upside down, Shinji's face looms into the screen, looking down at the device now in his hand.]
What the hell's this?
[Shinji looks over the communicator for a moment]
This isn't mine
...
What, did you steal this?!
[The communicator flips around to show Cube's paws and the floor as Shinji looks at it some more. Turning it back around, he shrugs.]
Well, whatever sap lost this probably doesn't deserve it, anyhow... you can have it as a chew toy, boy.
[The communicator hits the floor and the purple pup runs after it, happily thinking it's a game of fetch now, returning it to Shinji as he grumbles.]
Look, it's not mine... I don't even want one, hell if I'm keeping two. You keep it.
["Keep it? Well, I guess so. It's kind of fun, just like Master's." Cube spends the rest of the video feed staring at the communicator, waiting for it do something interesting so he can play with it.]

I hope he feels very good soon! Make sure he drinks a lot. We have to keep good eye out for our families. I wish my Master was happier... I don't know what to do...

He pauses. In thought... feeling like he knows what it's like... but not sure how.
"Cake? That's a wonderful idea! ..... but how do I get him cake? I.. I know how to make cake! ... I think..."
More confused pausing...
"A whole couch?! That's amazing! Kamui-san is the strongest person I heard of! You're both very lucky to ahve such an amazing person!"]

His ears go way down and he looks away, embarrassed.

And he does. He closes his eyes and waits... his ears twitch, listening for something... anything...]

THAT WAS A LOUD SOUND!
"Was that sound you? Are you all through the wall?!"
Picking up the communicator in his mouth, Cube races to the door and starts scratching at it. Shinji eventually comes over, curious what has gotten into the dog and opens the door. Cube isn't paying attention to him much and as seen as the door is cracked open, he squeezes through ans runs out of there, hunting down the sound.
...
Now, he is pawing at the neighbor's door.
"Hello! Hokuto-san! Subaru-san! It's Fireball!"
He whines and paws at the door more, since he can't bark.]

...He promptly makes this face when he sees a dog.]

"Hello! May I come inside and play with Subaru-san and Hokuto-san?"
He isn't actually sure if the person before him can understand, so he nuzzles his nose between the door and the door frame, trying to get in.]

You were all right here the whole time! You're a lot smaller then I thought, though..."]

[And Kamui's going to peek into his children's heads and listen in on their convo.] You know him?

He lays down for a moment, tail wagging... he nudges his communicator towards the kittens.
"We're neighbors. This will make it easy to make Master a cake or something..."
He looks up at Kamui, "We just met!"]
[Comment Log] SORRY THIS IS SO LATE
[That's right. This was that dog that Shinji found, wasn't it?
...Regardless, he didn't mean any harm, so there wasn't any reason to keep him from staying here with the kittens. It must be kind of lonely being a pet in Discedo.]
