loyal_cube | ✪ Lost Puppy! What is this? ✪ [Accidental Video]

[The video feed starts off dark with some growling noises followed by some sniffing. The screen clears up and shows a purple canine as Cube pulls his snout away from the screen. He cocks his head, looking curiously at the communicator. One of his ears flops to the side for a moment as he stares.

Suddenly, his eyes light up as his ears spring at a thought in his mind. The screen goes dark again as Cube picks up the communicator in his mouth. The sound of panting and quick paw steps can be heard for a few moments before he pulls away. Upside down, Shinji's face looms into the screen, looking down at the device now in his hand.]

What the hell's this?

[Shinji looks over the communicator for a moment]

This isn't mine

What, did you steal this?!

[The communicator flips around to show Cube's paws and the floor as Shinji looks at it some more. Turning it back around, he shrugs.]

Well, whatever sap lost this probably doesn't deserve it, anyhow... you can have it as a chew toy, boy.

[The communicator hits the floor and the purple pup runs after it, happily thinking it's a game of fetch now, returning it to Shinji as he grumbles.]

Look, it's not mine... I don't even want one, hell if I'm keeping two. You keep it.

["Keep it? Well, I guess so. It's kind of fun, just like Master's." Cube spends the rest of the video feed staring at the communicator, waiting for it do something interesting so he can play with it.]

[Cube blinks a few times. What the...? It wasn't actually coming from the normal place. The sound... the voice was muffled.]

*she wasn't sure what she was expecting. Even though she was familiar with strange things like this, the fact that the dog had seemed like an ordinary dog at first made it a bit surprising*

Y-you really did it. But why did it sound a little... muffled?

[his chest puffed out, a bit proud.

"Thank you.... but I don't know..."

he tried again, but it looked like he had a hairball or something stuck.]

[He closed his eyes, in thought. Trying to focus on where the sound is coming from.]

[He looks down at his paws and stares at them. Trying to thing. It was so frustrating. He knew there had to be something but he just couldn't remember. He sits there a long while, his ears slowly drooping... lost in thought]
