I'd like to ask for your opinion on something, if you have the time:

Lets say you had a friend you've known a very very long time and you got into a confrontation. After that you part ways and don't speak for months.

What would you do or say if you wanted to talk to them again, not really sure how they'll react when they see you?

[Cube chuckles before joining her with taking a sip of tea before starting]

I'd like to take over her Cafe... but still come to the hospital to be your apprentice in the afternoons and evenings. Would that be acceptable to you, Sensei?

I... It's a place that brings people together. Anemone-chan wishes to try and make snacks for it but I know she can't run the place alone... not when she already has two other obligations...

My studies with medicine will always be my priority, specially when the city is in a crisis but... when it isn't, the Cafe is where I'd like to be in the mornings.

Hmm... you'll make yourself rather busy. You'll have to take care not to tire out. I can help with that as well.

Tea and coffee are strongly tied with medicine's history. I do not see any issue with the matter. I just worry you may stretch yourself thin.

[Busy is how he likes is though but he nods considering what Eirin is saying. He promised Reisen he wouldn't ever pass out from overworking again and is meaning to keep that promise]

I don't plan to wear myself thin. I can always have the Cafe closed maybe two times a week, or have someone else open it in my stead to make sure I get some rest.

Perhaps I can ask Alice to work at the Cafe as well?

[Cube's ears perked at the suggestion]

R-really? That'd be helpful, Sensei. You don't mind asking her, do you? Do you know if she can make Coffee and Tea?

Well I'm sure she can be taught.

Mmm. [Cube nodded and smiled before taking another sip of tea]

I- I was also curious about Gaga-san...

He's a cat but... w-would Sensei be willing to remove his chip? He's pretty difficult in his currently form. [And rather useless, actually]

Is he still house trained in his other form?

[Cube nearly spit his Tea as he started to laugh]

I think so unless he's gone senile.

[He kept laughing for a good while.]

He'd have a fit and throw his hip out if he heard us.

Well what he doesn't know can hardly hurt him.

I don't know Sensei. He hurts himself more than others do.

[He giggles a little before taking a sip of Tea]

I'm glad he's alright, though. Seeing him has really brought back some memories...

She looks so serious in it, doesn't she?

[Cube takes the photo from Eirin and looks at it with a soft smile]

[He tried not to cry at seeing the photo, taking in a deep breath]

Would it be possible if I could borrow this sometime? Perhaps not now, but... Sometime in the future?

Any time you wish, it will be yours, Cube. They are you family as well, after all.

[Oh, god Eirin, were you trying to make him cry because he is starting to cry now. He holds the photo out, back towards Eirin, so he doesn't hurt it]

I-I'm sorry...

-She doesn't take the photo. Instead she moves to Cube, enveloping him in her arms and holding him tightly... maternally...-

There there... go ahead and let it out. It's difficult, I know. I can't even count the tears I have shed since coming here. I miss them so much... but we still have each other... and we will all be together again.

[He leans into Eirin, can't hold tears back and doesn't even try once shes there. Bringing his arms up, he holds her the best he can in return without crushing the photo.]

A Year ago w-we met an-and now you're more then just my Sensei...
I- I don't know what I'll to do w-when you leave...

I miss everyone.

I miss Reisen-san so much.

Shhh... just let the tears fall. I understand it all... We are together now, and will be once we are both home. That is what matters.

[Cube does, shoulders tremble and he cries for a bit, quiet sobs. He starts to calm down, though. He sniffles a little, still holding onto Eirin.]

-She gently pets at his hair, not saying a word.-
