Lets say you had a friend you've known a very very long time and you got into a confrontation. After that you part ways and don't speak for months.

What would you do or say if you wanted to talk to them again, not really sure how they'll react when they see you?

I'm not offended. Mr. Strife just sounds...old? It's usually 'Cloud' or 'Strife.'

Not everyone thinks alike. But is that why you argued?

Hm... People have changed their view on how to be addressed over the decades. It used to be very normal. I suppose Mr. Strife is how one would address your father? I don't mind addressing you as 'Cloud.'

He tried to hurt someone dear to me as a joke. I- I don't know why he thought it was funny but he could have killed her.

N-no... I suppose he is upset she hurt him. He was teasing me and she came to defend me, and hurt him as a warning.

I believe that's when it started, but even so... I can't imagine that erupting into what happened later.
