✪ The weather outside is frightful, but cookies sound delightful ✪ [Text]

I've thought of an interesting idea for the upcoming holidays. I'm not sure if it'll be possible but if we save ingredients, it might be.

I propose Cafe Alpha baking plain sugar cookies in simple shapes, like gingerbread men, trees, stars, candy canes, reindeer, or simple circles. Then, allow guests to decorate them as they please with colored frosting or candy.

The only problem I think we'll have is finding enough frosting. Still, it would allow people to make cookies for their friends and family as gifts since finding things in this city for presents is hard.

How does everyone feel about this? Would you be interested in decorating cookies? Any suggestions?

With the amount of staff coming and going, I'd like to ask if someone will be willing to show me how to perform chip removals. I have knowledge of locations but I'm afraid I'm not comfortable in removing chips with the experience Dr. Yagokoro has left me.

Speaking of chips, I'd also like to speak with someone about having mine removed sometime before the end of the year, if at all possible.

To have so much holiday cheer spread around in his vicinity, I'd expect the boss' grumpy face to be about five times more grumpier. Of course, I would not mind seeing it actually lighten up his mood. We should have him taste-test cookies for us.

It's difficult to explain, which is the reason why I hadn't thought of bringing it up, but the shortened version is that I'm rather weak to rain and would much prefer to not bother those around me with my presence in such a condition.

[There is the briefest hint of grumpiness in Minagawa's voice.]

Yes, and he quite enjoyed sharing his... begrudging happiness.

[But then the tone is gone~.]

Maybe if we made them into some cute shapes with suitable features, like a cat, or a dog... that could work very well to persuade him.

[Oh you and your worrying. All it really does is amuse him, and if he could say thank you then he would but, kind retribution is not Minagawa's strong-point.]

If I require any at-home emergency assistance, then I'll gladly let Cube-kun know. Just be careful with my roommate. Perona can be very... playful.

Hm, yes. That would have been far less entertaining to see. Less frightening as well but, we can't have everything.

I've noticed. He enjoys feeding Suke on occasion. [Not that he's usually seen it, but he's used to feeding the cat at certain times and knows when exactly he's already eaten. And somehow, the cat is going to the bar a little more often than usual.]

An odd coincidence, but it was hard to say no. For, various reasons. [In other words, Perona won't leave and she's interesting enough to keep around. :/]

[...]

That's merely the type of person Shinjiro is. There's usually very little we can do about it. Some sort of startling revelation about his personality and the need for change does not seem very likely.

...but, he's like some sort of candy. Hard on the outside but with a chewy center. Best not to leave many cracks in it or the outside breaks, and it's no longer the thing that it used to be. You enjoy it as a whole, correct?

Now if only the same analogy could be used with Perona-chan.

Sweet and sour... more sour than anything else. It's a good thing we have two separate bedrooms.

[His specialty is sweets and pastries, what else were you expecting?]

Very good. I do as well.

[A very long pause.]

I do not know, but I'm positive that she would get the couch if the interior layout was any other way. I'm a generous man but not that generous.
