[The screen lights up and takes a moment to focus due to the strange bright glow for this time of night. Cube's face is outlined by an arrangement of glowing orbs in front of his face. Some are brighter than others and there does seem to be one that shines more than any of the others. It may be hard to see but when he touches the orbs, a ghostly image appears next to it. Soon, all the orbs have images next to them. Images of people's faces.

People Flandre has met.

Unaware of the recording transmission, Cube's tired face searches over each one, putting aside a few he doesn't recognize or is suspicious of. The brightest one gets pushed to the other side, Cirno's face chasing alongside of it as it's moved.

Cube arranges and rearranges the orbs, sighing every once in a while as if trying to solve a puzzle. The communicator eventually times itself back out as if it were bored with the scene.]

((ooc: Only people Flandre has developed CR with will show up as an orb, not just one-time acquaintances. This goes for anyone who has made an impact on Flandre as well. [Cube squeezes her, crying, thankful. So very very thankful.]

Yes. Yes, I remember. I remember you, Flandre-chan. I-I've been looking for you. I thought-- I- I didn't know if I'd ever see you again!

[He is too happy she is there to scold her at the moment]

I'm glad you're alright. I've looked all over the city for you.

[While holding her close, Cube pets the vampire's blond hair]

[She starts to shake; shivering in Cube's arms. Properly humanoid again, she could cry--and did.

When she speaks, her words are punctuated with broken sobs.]

...Cube...Cube forgot. When the things, made of words, when they happened and Cube didn't remember me or the city or--

[And here her voice just breaks completely.]

[Cube continues to hold her, a knot forming in his throat. He remembered that but at the time he couldn't. It was horrible, and the place with the boat. Cube started to stroke Flandre's hair once more before he spoke]

I did forget but- it must have been the fish because I remember now. I never left. I'm here now and I- I would always come back for Flandre-chan. I'll always come back, even if it takes me years.

[He squeezes her, tears still rolling down his cheeks.]

I'll come back for Flandre-chan.

[Flandre cannot speak--only cry. But now she moves, as if unfrozen--though still stiff. She reaches up, curling her fingers into the demon's shirt near his shoulders and folding her wings around him and clinging too hard, like a drowning person.

But she heard every word. The shivering stopped, slowly, gradually--but they did.

That empty sadness in her chest didn't seem so big now.]

[Cube remains in wrapped in Flandre's wings, even if her clinging to his shoulders was tight, he didn't want to pull away. Not when she was physically here and upset.

He continues to hold and pet her for a long stretch of time. There wasn't any need for words. However, when the demon's eyes were finished crying and he had settled, all that was left was worry.]

W-where... where have you been? No one took you, did they?

[Flandre's still crying--but she sniffles and shakes her head here.]

No...I was hiding.

Hiding...

[The thought processes while Cube brings out his wings and covers his vampire daughter]

I'm sorry. I'm sorry I scared you.
