A lot has been happening lately, and I apologize for my inability to assist with many issues due to my slow recovery in Spero. A few months ago, Dr. Cuddy was sent home and hasn't, to my knowledge, returned. So, I'll be keeping up with the medical records. I'll be keeping with her format and timing, meaning that I'll be reminding everyone about these medical records every month from now on.

I'd like for everyone to fill out this new form, even if you are planning to not return to Discedo. It's for your own benefit should an emergency happen.

What are medical records?
     The medical records are simple forms filled out by residents to document their medical state and needs such as name, blood type, species, and previous medical history.
     If you are unable to read or write, you may receive assistance filling out a form by stopping by the hospital or contacting me over the network and I'll document things for you.

Why should I fill it out?
     In the state of emergency, a medical record on file can be accessed and with it, can speed up assistance to patients. It's in your best interests to fill the form out truthfully in case you're brought in unconscious or are unable to communicate. Also, if you have a specific medical need or even a rare blood type, medical personnel can keep a look out for supplies available for proper treatment, if needed.

What about my privacy?
     Your medical record will be stored in an undisclosed location and only accessed and shared by medical personnel when needed. These records are not open the the general public. All records filled electronically will be locked until transferred securely.
     Should security of the records be breached, measures will be taken to secure and/or relocate all information as soon as possible. The party responsible for breaching security will be apprehended and harshly dealt with, no exceptions.

How do I update my information?

** Since it has been some time since any records have been updated, I'm asking that everyone please fill out the new form. This way, things will run much more smoothly with how I plan to organize the forms from now on.

I've met many elves before, and even more demons. I was curious about your demonic blood. Is that something you inherited or what exactly do you mean by "a touch of demon blood?"

Well it has been many years, but it was a lot easier to learn them when I was adventuring. The missiles though are not actually fire, but pure magical energy. That's rather interesting though, I had no idea that bards were capable of using magic in your world too. The strength of the monsters depends on the different level of the spell, while the type of monster is usually random, but falls into the category of the strength. The fire shield is a lot more like a wall of fire that surrounds me, and I'm immune to being hurt by it. The only way you can actually be hurt by it is hurting me, and if you do so the fire shield shall do the same damage to you in flames. I can cast quite a large variety of spells, but there is the limitation of having to know what it is I want to be casting later on that day.

I'm similar in many respects, but the limitation is my memory. A spell requires me to use my own intelligence to memorize it so that I can cast it... it's... actually a little difficult to explain really. However, this is why I rely on not only my spells but my swordsmanship too.

Haha! That's quite alright, it's been sometime since I've been able to discuss such things, and you've asked some very interesting questions. I only wish I could explain a bit better than I have. As a bard I'm usually a bit better with my explanations.

Well when I said a touch of demon's blood, I mean that somewhere in my family tree, most likely my great uncle or some such, a demon mated with an elf. I also have a bit of human in my family tree so you could say that I'm half elf, a fourth demon, and a fourth human. In other words a mongrel, or in a more polite term, a tiefling. Anything else Doctor Cube?

Yes. I'm not all too familiar with it but I've had to fight one or two in my life thus far. I haven't ever met someone as skilled at you, so it's an honor. That summoning spell sounds rather useful... you needn't remember the monster's name or special spell just to summon it.

R-Really?! So, your fire shield only hurts if attacked? That's amazing! [He wishes he knew that spell.]

I can imagine memorizing everything can be quite difficult, specially if you're in the middle of battle with little time to think. Does this mean you carry a spell book to study?

Well ironically the randomized summoning spells became a bit less useful when I started to become more profficiant with my spells. Nowadays, if I do use a summoning spell, I summon the best that I can which is a wyvern, carrion crawlers, or an invisible stalker. That or Skeleton Warriors, those things are amazingly powerful all things considering. But I actually need some skeletons to work with to make them.

That's right, the fire shield doesn't even tickle otherwise. Some in my profession actually do carry around a spell book, I'm one of those weirdos that actually doesn't. Really, it gets in the way of my swords. As for what you ask of me, you could say that I indeed have had a very busy life, but I would not consider myself a hero. I don't exactly work with the motives of good or evil in mind, and as such, most people don't really consider me either one. I'm a wanderer through and through my dear doctor, and I let the winds of fate blow me wherever they see fit.

Oh, no. I believe that makes more sense. It's best to know what you're summoning. You need skeletons to summon the skeleton warriors? Can you use animal skeletons?

It's alright. I can imagine a spell book would be a hamper when traveling, but I would probably carry a small pocket-sized notebook for spells I don't use very often, just in case of an emergency.

In my case, I thought I had permission since I was the one I was referring to. I don't exactly call other tieflings that, as that would be ridiculously hypocritical.

That's alright, I must assume you know someone who has dealt with similar racism as my tiefling cousins often do. In many of the planes I've been to, it's considered to be taboo to be a half-elf, as many elves and humans don't think the races should mingle, while it's considered to be an abomination to have demon's blood. I have the worst of both worlds you see, so I know the feeling quite well, and mock the name of Mongrel.

I'm sorry for getting upset about it. it's good you can joke about it.

Mhm. A previous mistress of mine had demon blood and it was difficult for her when she was younger. The kingdom in which he lived started exiling demons and half-breeds and things were frightening after a while b-but she worked things out and everyone was able to return... still, the peace didn't last long. It never does.

Many people think different things, where I'm from. The Demon World is always on edge with the Human and Celestial worlds. It's most common of Humans to show disgust towards Demons and those with demon blood. I believe a lot of it has to do with jealousy. I'm quite lucky. It was a bit easier for me because I was a servant and so although I'm of demon heritage, I served Human masters, so it was over looked.

Ahh, I thought I recognized a bit of a demonic heritage about you. I've known quite a few in my time, so I tend to recognize it rather quickly, but I guess I was thrown off a little by your appearance. If it's not too rude of me to ask, are you a full demon, or just part demon like me? It's hard for me to tell through this device.

My appearance threw you off? U-Usually, where I'm from, it's what gives me away if I'm not inn my dog disguise. Anyway, I only have demon blood, I believe.

I suppose just looking at someone is difficult to tell, specially when there are so many types of demons. Some look human while others look like animals or beasts. It's always difficult to explain to people here who have never heard of demons.

Then you are more or less like me. I suspect that the demons where I'm from are quite a bit different than yours. I also suspect that it's because I had not met you in person. It's hard for me to judge by just video feed or other methods of scrying.

Hm, I wouldn't be surprised if they did but do not judge the Demon World from just meeting me. After all, I'm not a good example of what to expect. [And he is a bit proud about that.]

Haha! Well, if all the demons from the demon world were like you, they couldn't exactly be called demons. You're far too kindhearted for that.
