✪ Lets get down to business! Again and again! ✪ [Text]
A lot has been happening lately, and I apologize for my inability to assist with many issues due to my slow recovery in Spero. A few months ago, Dr. Cuddy was sent home and hasn't, to my knowledge, returned. So, I'll be keeping up with the medical records. I'll be keeping with her format and timing, meaning that I'll be reminding everyone about these medical records every month from now on.
I'd like for everyone to fill out this new form, even if you are planning to not return to Discedo. It's for your own benefit should an emergency happen.
What are medical records?
The medical records are simple forms filled out by residents to document their medical state and needs such as name, blood type, species, and previous medical history.
If you are unable to read or write, you may receive assistance filling out a form by stopping by the hospital or contacting me over the network and I'll document things for you.
Why should I fill it out?
In the state of emergency, a medical record on file can be accessed and with it, can speed up assistance to patients. It's in your best interests to fill the form out truthfully in case you're brought in unconscious or are unable to communicate. Also, if you have a specific medical need or even a rare blood type, medical personnel can keep a look out for supplies available for proper treatment, if needed.
What about my privacy?
Your medical record will be stored in an undisclosed location and only accessed and shared by medical personnel when needed. These records are not open the the general public. All records filled electronically will be locked until transferred securely.
Should security of the records be breached, measures will be taken to secure and/or relocate all information as soon as possible. The party responsible for breaching security will be apprehended and harshly dealt with, no exceptions.
How do I update my information?
** Since it has been some time since any records have been updated, I'm asking that everyone please fill out the new form. This way, things will run much more smoothly with how I plan to organize the forms from now on.
Any questions, comments, or concerns are welcome.
Thank you for your time,
Cube
The Form:
((ooc: An organization post to keep track of medical records has been placed at
playmyace. You do not need to do anything OOCLY. It is merely a place to keep medical forms in one place, rather then across character journals. If anyone has any issues with this, please contact me.))

I can move across planes of reality at will. No matter the distance.
[He can imagine but wants to HEAR it.]
Where are you located.
I'm in the Spero Hospital. I could meet you by the entrance, if you'd like.
....PFFFFFF.Of course.]I would like that. Thank you. [Stay civil, Grell.
She cuts the feed and heads out, mumbling about private affairs needing to remain private.]
[Action]
[Action]
Someone is up ahead with a basket. Looks like a lost little boy. There isn't anyone else around though. Wasn't Cube supposed to be here?]
[Action]
Miss Sutcliff! Over here!
[His voice should be familiar, if not his face.]
[Action]
She walks over to him with her arms crossed.]
Thank you for meeting with me. [She taps her chin with a gloved finger.] You are a cutie. [Smirks softly]
[Action]
I-It's a pleasure.
P-Please come inside. I'm afraid the hospital isn't in the best condition but I've been cleaning...
[In which, he'll lead Grell to a cleaned room he is using as an office for the moment. he snaps his fingers and a Chair "steps" aside for her to sit on.]
Please make yourself comfortable.
[Action]
Such an inviting place. [Sarcasm, she knows it.
His office is quite clean, but she did raise an eyebrow at his finger snap and DID THAT CHAIR JUST MOVE?! Grell jumps back a bit at that. No way is she sitting down!]
[Action]
[Cube chuckles but ti dies a bit and is replaced with a worried smile when he notices Grell's reaction to the chair.]
It's alright. It's safe. I made it move. It's a spell of mine. I promise I will not make any furniture move while you're using it. I usually pull chairs out by myself but... I hope you'll excuse me for not wishing to stand much longer. I'm still recovering from an injury.
[He waits for Grell to sit before even thinking of sitting as well.]
I'm afraid I haven't any more tea, but I'd be happy to have some water brought for you.
[Action]
An injured doctor? That's not very good, although inevitable in such an environment. [At least he wasn't housing zombies? Right?? And Cube gets a lot of points for offering tea even though he didn't have any.]
Water is fine. Thank you.
[Action]
[Cube does his best to satisfy. After all he was a butler for hundreds of years before being a doctor. When Grell accepts the water, Cube Snaps his fingers once more, but nothing seems to happen.]
Now, as far as your abilities go. When a chip is removed, you'll be ill for a day or two with symptoms such as dizziness, nauseousness, vomiting, aches and lack of sleep. Afterwords, you'll gain access to your abilities again... except they may not be as you remember them. it can be vary dangerous to use your powers for the following week after the chip is removed because control over them seems to waiver for most. For example, when my chip was removed, all the furniture in the building I lived at moved around on their own. If you have more than one's ability, it is very possible more than one, if not all, may be triggered and run wild for days. No two people experience the same thing... unless they're completely human and lack abilities and magic... then, of course, nothing but the initial illness happens.
[As he finishes, a teapot floats in , followed by two cups fluttering hard with tiny bat wings trying to keep up. They settle themselves table between Cube and Grell. Cube then proceeds to pour a cup of water for Grell and then for himself. Totally a normal day for him.]
So, I refuse to take anyone's chip out unless I understand exactly what it is I'm unlocking.
[Action]
She was about to reply when the teapot and cups come flying in. What...this isn't normal. Or something she's familiar with.]
...right. [Her attention is more on the teapot and cups than anything.] You inquired what my gifts are used for. [She settles in her seat a bit, ready to explain, or work around the truth.] This chip prevents me from being at my normal capacity. In this environment, it's actually more dangerous for it to remain inside.
[She takes a sip of the water. Probably the first drink she has had since arriving.]
It's unnatural for a being as myself to remain like this. Weaker and slower than normal. [Her eyebrows furrow slightly.] It is bad enough these so called scientists have perverted the laws of DEATH, I do not wish to be completely under their thumb. [A soft sigh is given before she continues.] I've already told you my abilities. There's nothing more to them than that.
[Action]
I understand not being able to do things as you're used to... it can be dangerous.
You've already told me a bit more then I knew before. Like being quicker and stronger than a normal human.
What is it you did in your own world? [He knows that is a bit personal but he can't imagine what someone would do with such a power and is really paranoid.]
[Action]
The most I can disclose you is that we handle the souls of the deceased. For us to be alive like...this, goes against our nature.
[Action]
You're not in your world any longer, Miss Sutcliff. Whatever your purpose was there... may not apply here. So, you should be able to disclose whatever you like without punishment. Unless there is someone here that I'm not aware of who will punish you for speaking freely...
[Action]
If it is possible for other from my own world to come here, then I run that risk of EXPOSURE should they arrive. You cannot simply say there is no punishment, unless you can predict the future.
Despite how confidential you would be, I cannot take such a risk. Whether it be here, or back home, it would be irresponsible of me to do so. I have told you all I could of my origins without endangering myself, or others like myself, should they arrive here.
[She sets her cup upon the table before crossing her legs, folding her hands atop her lap.] Perhaps you're used to less discretion from others because this world is so...SPECIAL. But as you are trying to proceed with caution, so must I. It seems that we both must deal with the consequences in such a procedure, but as it stands, I'm taking a rather bold step in giving you this information. If my superior were here, he would more than likely disapprove.
[Action]
No, I understand, Miss Sutcliff. Perhaps, not quite at first, but I do now.
[He reaches over and pulls a green notebook towards himself. He snaps his fingers and a feather pen with a small star symbol appears for him to use.]
I usually would have you fill out a form, but to keep things as confidential as possible, there will be no need.
Is there anyone here, on Fortuna, you'd like me to contact should something happen during your chip removal? I've never had a reason to use an emergency contact but I ask as a precaution.
[Action]
She didn't trust anyone here.
Except...]
Tavros, or a person named Haer'Dalis.
[As much as she would not like to give such a responsibility to either of them should something happen, she felt that they were the most trustworthy. Meaning she didn't want to use them or kill them.]
[Action]
I know of them both.
Thank you for coming all the way here to speak with me. Is there anything else I can assist you with today?
[He closes his book after jotting a few things down.]
[Action]
I do, actually. After the procedure is done, will I be required to stay in the hospital?
[Action]
If they can't for any reason, let me know.
