Notes of a Steward

[Video feed cuts in to an unusual place for this frequency-- the bathroom. More importantly, the screen is facing towards the bath tub where a familiar pointy eared demon is staring up at a water modeled off a certian someone. The water figure is close to his level, as if sitting in the water with him. Cube's face just continues to gaze in front of him in disbeleif before he slowly leans forward, arms lifting from the bath water up for a hug.

The hug is never met. As soon as Cube's bare arms touch the floating water, it falls as if just being emptied from a bucket. His actions or somewhat slow to respond, arms still out while his focus changes to gaze down at the bath water.

After a moment, his arms lower and he just continues to stare at the same spot in the bath, as if expecting 'her' to show up again.]

-ound this book, Reisen-san... before... w-when I was hospitalized I read this... and ...
 
I-I've always felt... t-this did a better job at saying things then I-... I could ever hope to...
 
[There is a small throat clearing then a pause. Cube speaks softly and the nervousness in his voice becomes very apparent]

[The demons sighs and the sound of a book being closed can be heard]

First, I'd like to call off my Birthday Party tomorrow. With the current monster problem, it'd unsafe to have people gathering in one place much less have people traveling outside in the snow.

We should gather Saturday to try and venture down below. With what's been happening, it can't be much worse down there then up here and we need to get it working before it gets any colder.
