I'm not sure if it's of any interest to anyone but I've come across some interesting notes left here, at the Spero Hospital. Quite a few all speak of the Atropos virus. What's interesting is these notes label it as "incurable." The notes continue to list symptoms but the cause is always pointed towards Discedo, stating that they believe the fish and other imports from Discedo carried the virus but it's uncertain.

It sounds as though this world has dealt with this virus for some time. I'm beginning to wonder what exactly went on and if this sparked a conflict between Discedo and the rest of Fortuna.

Has anyone else found interesting information like this as well? I know I've missed a bit but it might be within our best interests to document everything all together, somehow.

I also have a request for those in Spero. I'm in need of a blood donors. I'm looking for someone to donate as soon as possible, but also any one else I may call on for later, in case of an emergency, would also be also appreciated.

Aside form that, should anyone in Spero need medical attention, please contact me.

I can only assume so.

That would make a lot of sense. We were given the vaccine from the scientists last year so we could give it to the Hollisland soldiers who attacked.

... It's an interesting idea, that it might have caused conflict between Discedo and the rest of Fortuna. But Discedo isn't the only abandoned place here on Fortuna, right? There doesn't seem to be anyone in Spero or Dissimulo either.

If they never found a cure for it, I can't imagine why there would be people. Many things could have resulted in these places being deserted. People could have attempted to leave, death could have caused them all to fall, or something we haven't discovered yet.

At least we know there are some still out there. Like Hollisland. Still, we're very much int he dark.

It's true that there are plenty of possible causes.. Still, it's a little weird for there to be people in other places, but not here. It's understandable if that incurable disease you talked about took care of everyone in Discedo, but the other cities..

Sounds pretty much the same. Lots of people died then, too. I wonder if we could find any information on it to see if there could be any other similarities between the two.

[understandable. Cube only used Text so anyone could respond. He also knows English and Japanese, so whichever of those Loki prefers, Cube will respond in.]

There is a possibility but from what as learned last year, we were all vaccinated by the scientists before being brought here. So, although some of us may develop symptoms, we will not die, thankfully.

Though, I wouldn't wish this sickness upon anyone, even if death can be avoided. It's horrible. [he came down with an acute form of it last year.]

[Loki is a brat, so he doesn't care if other people can respond to him or not. He already explained as much to Jack earlier. And Loki would probably prefer Scandanavian to anything else really, considering. And he's not going to suddenly go around speaking in that. So Japanese is probably his default.]

So they have developed some sort of a cure for it? At least to a certain extent, if you were still able to catch it.

Yes, I have been doing it a little bit at a time. I found these papers in a part I had to fly to get to. I feel bad for this building. I will never complain about the Discedo hospital ever again.
